About Us

The Environment

Climate change impacts us all and we believe that each of us has a part to play in reducing that impact. To that end, DataVisibility attempts to be a carbon-neutral organisation.

Our environmental policy encourages us to minimise energy utilisation wherever possible. We do this, for example, by the use of public transport, conducting conferences online, recycling and by choosing energy-efficient office equipment.

DataVisibility Ltd is working towards ISO 14001 certification.

Whilst we believe that the best way to be carbon-neutral is to reduce CO2 emissions, we recognise that it is not yet possible for us to achieve a zero level. To compensate for our CO2 footprint, DataVisibility purchases carbon offsets for all company miles, both driven and flown. We are currently supporting the World Land Trust projects in Ecuador and the BP projects in India.

Features of our Environmental Policy include:

  • Identify and evaluate, in so far as practicable, the environmental aspects associated with any decision making processes DataVisibility with particular respect to life cycle thinking.
  • Promote personal awareness on the part of the employees at all levels to avoid and prevent environmental damage.
  • Ensure that all DataVisibility staff are aware of the need for responsible use of all natural resources and the minimisation of waste and energy consumption.
  • DataVisibility is committed to recovery and recycling whenever feasible.
  • DataVisibility is committed to supporting the environmental aspirations of its Clients.
