PRINCE2 is the de facto standard structured project method used within UK government, where it originated. Increasingly it is being used in the private sector and internationally.

Imprest supports PRINCE2 and variants of this methodology, as well as other methodologies, in a number of ways.

Clients can define templates and structure their projects in line with their own PRINCE2 procedures and documentation, and monitor project outputs and outcomes against key objectives.

Imprest provides a fully configurable user interface enabling the system to be easily tailored for different groups of users and tied to the project workflow and methodology. For large projects this enables PRINCE2 (and other methods such as RIBA) stages and task planning to be mandated along with cost planning and risk management. For small projects it may be that a reduced number of stages is needed along with a scaled down highlight report.

Imprest provides a helicopter view across multiple projects, following all method variations, for easy reporting of key data such as schedule and cost.
